Organisatie
The PoaC Programme Committee (PC) has the responsibility to coordinate and manage the programme and is supported in its task by ACTS. In the PC, scientists from academia as well as the participating industrial partners are represented. All of the three scientific fields of PoaC – food sciences, fine chemistry and life sciences – have one representative from the industry in the PC. In addition, the enablers of the PoaC consortium also have one representative in the PC. For the evaluation of research proposals, the PC is assisted by two Advisory Boards. The Scientific Advisory Board consist of three prominent international researchers who are active in the field of PoaC, and advises the PC on the scientific progress and direction of the programme. The Industrial Advisory Board comprises representatives of all industrial partners participating in PoaC. The Industrial Advisory Board evaluates industrial relevance of the programme, and advises the projects via coaching committees. Decisions on the approval of research proposals are made by NEW and the Executive Board of ACTS, although, NEW assigned its decision making responsibility to the PC.
